TAROT CLASSES 2008
Learn the 78-card structure of the tarot: the 22 major cards, the 40 minor cards, and the 16 court cards. Understand the four elements of tarot; determine your tarot numerology; learn how to shuffle, cut, and select cards; and leave knowing how to do a basic three-card spread. If you have a tarot deck, bring it. If not, I will have decks at the class available in my boxed set The Complete Tarot Kit.
Advanced students will be asked to read a ten-card woven spread (or a ten-card Celtic cross spread) for anther student. Every student receives a full tarot reading and will learn how to interpret a full reading. Includes instruction on how to read with playing cards to fully comprehend minor arcana suit allegory and symbolism.
The four elements of astrology are exactly the same as the four suits of the tarot. If you know know how to read tarot cards, you can easily figure out how tarot correlates to astrology. Understand the astrology signs and planets of tarot by learning the Crowley Thoth tarot deck attributes of planet and sign. Required text is my book Introduction to Tarot.
For advanced tarot students and those who know how to read tarot cards but wish to further develop their divinatory skills. Includes detailed explanation of tarot iconography and symbolism, and how to do a variety of tarot spread.
I teach private tarot lessons by phone or in San Francisco, CA.
