SUSAN LEVITT is a professional tarot card reader, astrologer, and feng shui consultant in the San Francisco Bay Area
with over 30 years' experience. She is known for the incredible accuracy of
her intuitive services and practical, down-to-earth advice. She was
interviewed by CNN, awarded "Best Astrologer" by the San Francisco Weekly
where she lives, was interviewed on the television program "Chicagoing"
because Chicago is her home town, and was featured in the San Francisco
Chronicle, InStyle magazine, and many other publications. Susan is the author of
five books Introduction to Tarot, The Complete Tarot Kit, Taoist Astrology, Taoist Feng Shui,
and Teen Feng Shui
that are published in eight languages. Her The Complete Tarot Kit
is an international best seller.
Susan lectures about Chinese astrology every Chinese New Year at East
West Books in Mountain View, CA. Susan has presented at numerous conferences including the Whole Life Expo
and the San Francisco Bay Area Tarot Symposium. She organizes feng shui
consultations for individual homes as well as corporations including the San Francisco SPCA, EA
Electronic Arts, and
Club One, and has provided her intuitive services for the international spas Rio Caliente and Skylonda.
Susan is the astrology columnist for The Nob Hill
Gazette in San Francisco and has written astrology columns for Feng Shui Journal and Sage
Woman magazine. She has taught graduate-level feng shui courses at
the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, and lectured
at Stanford University sponsored by the Women's Studies department. Her articles
and book reviews are published in the San Francisco Chronicle, Gnosis,
Magical Blend, Shaman's Drum, We'Moon lunar calendars, and other fine
journals.
- Susan skipped three grades and began an Asian Studies major in
Chinese and Japanese literature at age 16 in 1971 in Chicago at
Roosevelt University under Professor Takeko Stover of the Oriental
Institute of the University of Chicago.
- Susan began
reading tarot cards at age 17 in 1972 in Chicago and became a professional tarot card reader in the San Francisco Bay Area in 1986.
- She completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from The School Of The Art Institute Of Chicago.
She attended The Art Institute Of Chicago to take a course in Chinese
calligraphy and completed her studies on full scholarship. Her graduate studies were at the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ.
- She was interviewed at her home by CNN in July 2008 about the future
of the United States economy.
- She has studied astrology for over 40 years and still has her first
astrology book from when she was 11 years old in 1966.

- She learned classical Chinese medicine from Victoria Lapp, master Chinese herbalist
in San Francisco.
- She is a certified feng shui practitioner and studied Black Hat feng shui under Lin Yun Rinpoche, Teacher Ho Lynn Tu, and Seann Xenja.
